Innovative mobile clinic launched for van customers
Breeze Van Centres in Southampton and Portsmouth have unveiled a new Mobile Service Clinic van for customers across Hampshire.
The mobile service is available to fleet customers, enabling inspections, MOT repairs and minor warranty work to be carried out at the customers’ fleet base.
The Mobile Service Clinic is an innovation started by Volkswagen with convenience for customers at the forefront of the launch.
With commercial vehicle customers needing to meet increasingly demanding service delivery promises for their own customers, the Mobile Service Clinic ensures that vehicle uptime is maximised with trained technicians carrying out service and repair work at a time and location which works best for the customer.
Tim Treweeks, Head of Business for Breeze Van Centre Southampton and Van Service Centre Portsmouth, said: “One of the main concerns for fleet customers is how long their vehicles are off the road. Our Mobile Service Clinic van is a convenient alternative for these businesses and demonstrates how we are dedicated to providing the perfect package for the fleet network.
“Customers simply have to call or email us to arrange a suitable time for the work. It saves them money, time and minimises inconvenience.”
The Breeze Van Centres Mobile Service Clinic will visit customers with five or more vehicles in their fleet, in the Hampshire area.
There are also plans to make the service available for retail customers on the Isle of Wight, on a regular day each month, to save them the cost and inconvenience of a trip to the mainland. All appointments must have off-road parking for the Mobile Clinic and the van being serviced.
The mobile unit is further complemented by the offer of extended servicing hours at all Breeze Van Centres, by appointment only.
